The Air/Fuel Ratio (O2) sensor relocating kit will allow you to relocate the Air/Fuel Ratio sensor from the center tube to the collector for those with the Doug Thorley 1GR Long Tube Headers.
The stock configuration of the Thorley Long Tube Headers has the Air/Fuel Ratio sensor installed in the center primary tube on each side of the engine so the ECU is only sampling the center cylinder on each side of the engine. Many customers have expressed an interest in relocating the Air/Fuel Ratio sensors to the collectors on the headers so the ECU can sample the all the cylinders on that side of the engine. This becomes more important for those customers that are using the APR X-1 Advance Engine Controller because it uses closed loop feedback for mixture control at full throttle where the stock ECU does not.
URD has put this relocating kit together that includes the components needed to weld a new stainless bung for the Air/fuel Ratio Sensor in the collector of the headers, a plug to plug the original bung in the center tube for each side, and two extension harnesses that use OEM connectors so you can plug in the extension directly to the stock connecters.
Note- The extension harnesses will not fit the 2003-2004 4Runner with the 1GR-FE engine because the O2 conenctors are different.
