These high quality highflow fuel injectors are the same ones URD uses in the URD MkII Tacoma Supercharger kit and fit the Toyota 1GR-FE 4.0L engine without modification. You will need an injector harness adapter. URD has harness connector adapters as well.
If you need to push your engine power well beyond the power levels of the basic TRD 1GR Supercharger system or are fabricating your own forced induction system and you need high flow injectors, these injectors are a great choice.
They are multi-fuel compatable fuel injectors which means you can use them for gasoline, ethonal, E85 fuel.
Using E85 fuel is becoming very popular with vehicles that have been converted to forced induction because of the high 105 octane rating and a price that is much cheaper than race gas.
The downside to using ethonal or E85 fuel is that you will need to flow approximately 36% more fuel than gasoline to properly fuel a forced induction engine. To do that you need BIG injectors and that is where these injectors come into use. Thier high capacity gives you much greater fuel flow capability than the stock injectors or the ones furnished in the TRD 4.0L Supercharger kit.
You may also need to add a fuel pump upgrade as well for greater fuel flow to the injectors.
URD has a 1GR fuel pump upgrade kit available.
Converting to use E85 fuel on a Toyota 1GR-FE truck engine is a very simple thing if you have the APR X-1 Advanced Engine Controller (excluding 2009 Tacoma). A calibration file update is available to make this a very easy conversion for you.
