Most modern crankshaft pulleys are cast iron to minimize OEM production costs. Although cheap to produce, this manufacturing approach is not optimal for maximum performance.

URD has selected applications where a lightweight performance crankshaft pulley will enhance performance while not comprimizing engine durability.
