The aFe Stage 2 Si (Sealed Intake) intake system completely replaces the entire stock intake system for the maximum increase in performance and appearance. The Si version includes a sealed intake to reduce the amount of hot under hood air that is ingested for increased performance. It is made from a rotational molded cross-linked polypropylene to eliminate heat conduction.
This Stage 2 Si system has three filter options. Please make your choice with the selection box below. If no selection is made your system will include the Pro-DRY-S dry synthetic media filter which URD reccomends.
Description of the different filter types:
Pro-DRY-S – This filter is a two layer oil free synthetic media filter. It is the easier to service than conventional; oil impregnated pleated media or foam filters. The Pro-Dry-S provides dramatic airflow increase over stock for improved horsepower and torque performance with 99.2% filter efficiency. The Pro-DRY-S filter is white in color.
Pro-5R – This filter provides the highest airflow levels for the greatest gains in horsepower and torque for times when performance is everything. Only aFe’s Pro-5R media is progressive in nature, offering 5 layers of progressively more tightly woven cotton gauze for protection levels in the high 98% range without sacrificing airflow. The Pro-5R filters use BLUE filter oil.
Pro-GUARD-7 – This filter provides maximum airflow and extended service intervals. Pro-GUARD-7’s patented 7-layer media uses 5 layers of progressive cotton gauze, 2 layers of random porosity, non-woven synthetic fiber, and a specially formulated oil to provide the highest filtration efficiency available at 99.7%. The Pro-GUARD-7 filter uses gold filter oil.
