The URD Traction Bar for the Tacoma SRunner is a special order item only.  When you place your order we will put it into the build cycle and you should recieve it 4-5 weeks later.

This traction bar also fits 1995-2004 V6 Tacoma 2x4 access cab trucks except Pre-Runner.

The URD traction bar prevents the rear axle housing from twisting in the leaf springs. This prevents the rear tires from hopping off the ground when the wheels begin to spin, and provides much better and more consistent traction for high-power starts and burnouts. This is very important for quicker hole-shots and reduced reaction times.

The URD traction bar also prevents the rear axle housing from twisting in the leaf springs during hard braking. And it provides greater control when accelerating around a turn.

Our traction bar is a unique design that is completely bolt-on. It consists of a very stout LASER cut and welded bracket that bolts to the rear differential.

An adjustable torque control bar mounts to the bracket using high-quality, greaseable polyurethane bushings, travels forward along the propeller shaft, and mounts to the frame cross member that supports the propeller shaft carrier bearing using a specially molded polyurethane bushing. There is an adjustment on the rear of the torque bar that will allow the user to adjust the preload on the springs to provide the optimum hole-shot traction.

This model fits the Tacoma SRunner only and will not fit other model Tacomas. Other models fit other applications.

The URD bar comes painted black. You may choose to have it powdercoated RED at an additional cost. Powdercoating will slightly delay shipping.

Installation note: The muffler used on the stock SRunner is larger than on most of the two-wheel drive Tacoma trucks. You may need to modify, move or replace the stock muffler to provide sufficient clearance for the torque bar. Most aftermarket performance mufflers provide sufficient clearance.
