Doug Thorley Headers FJ Y-Pipe is a Y-Pipe for the FJ Cruiser.  This Y Pipe eliminates exhaust restriction for greater performance and provides additional ground clearence for off roading.  The stock Y pipe crosses right under the transfer case and becomes the lowest part of the truck and is easily caught on off road obsticals.  This FJ Y pipe eliminates this problem.

The FJ Y pipe 2-1/4" piping with flanges and O2 Bungs and dual 10 inch resonators on each side of the Y-pipe. This insures maximum sound suppression without impeding exhaust flow. This will help those with Doug Thorley long tube headers to eliminate resonance & high pitched exhaust notes. Paired with a mandrel bent cat-back, this system is perfect for your FJ Cruiser 1GR-FE V6 engine. It fits in the stock hangers with no modifications and fits both 2x4 and 4x4 applications.  Installation of this off road Y pipe eliminates the rear catalytic converters and it intended for off road/racing use only and should not be used on public roads on emission controled vehicles.

The stock crush to seal gaskets used in the connections between the Y pipe and the exhaust manifolds should not be reused.  These gaskets should be replaced.  You can order new "heavy duty" crush gaskets by clicking here.
