URD 3" stainless Cat-Back fits all access cab trucks and double cab short beds too. (not for double cab long beds)

URD's 3" Tacoma (05+) cat-back exhaust system is handmade in the USA, and it is made of quality, heavy gauge (wall thickness) 304 grade stainless steel. All bends are mandrel bent to ensure that the exhaust keeps its full 3" diameter from the beginning to end so flow is maximized. Each exhaust is hand polished. The finish will look great for many years.
This system installs to the stock mounting points and it bolts up to the stock Y pipe. No cutting or welding is needed to install. Complete installation takes about 20 minutes.
Choosing a muffler to suit all customers proved to be difficult. URD wants to keep the deep performance tone of the system, but we also wanted to control excessive noise resulting from other performance exhaust modifications that may be used with this exhaust. One popular performance upgrade is the Doug Thorley long tube headers and URD's Competition Y-Pipe. The downside with long tube headers and a competition Y-Pipe is that this large 4.0L engine emits a strong pulse wave that blasts out of the free flowing exhaust sounding a bit "raspy."
URD tested many different mufflers to find the one that would sound great, and still give you the sound you are looking for without killing power. URD is offering you a choice of two different mufflers for your system. If you have not removed catalytic converters (off road use) from you exhaust system you will likely enjoy the performance tone of the Magnaflow muffler.
If you have, or are going to install, the Doug Thorley long tube headers and the URD Competition (or some other Y-Pipe) , you should consider the optional Turbo Flow Muffler. The optional turbo flow muffler does a great job of arresting the exhaust pulses and tames them to a very pleasant performance tone that will not annoy you and your passengers on long drives.
When URD designed this Cat-Back system we had our own supercharger system in mind as well as other forced induction systems. We were concerned that the large 3" diameter piping might be too much for normally aspirated combinations and might lose some low end power. We did some dyno tests and we were very pleased to see that there was no significant low end power penalty when installed on a normally aspirated engine. We were even more pleased to see the nice gains in the entire RPM range. So, for you normally aspirated folks .... this system works great.
